Brick Advent Calendar

Every morning in December, there’s a little box to open and a figurine to build: this Advent calendar spans 24 days, with 24 small sets of mini bricks to assemble, one per day. No two models are the same: Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, an elf, a reindeer, a snowman, a penguin, gingerbread, a cardinal, a Highland cow, a bear, a Christmas tree, a wreath, a bell, a gift, a nutcracker, boots, a sleigh, a train, a carousel, a Ferris wheel, a gingerbread house, a cabin, a Christmas door, and a truck with a Christmas tree. More interactive than a traditional calendar—which leaves you with nothing once it’s empty—it gives you 24 creations ranging from 7 to 9 cm to keep at the end of the month. Each one has a hanging loop: hang them on a large Christmas tree, a small tabletop tree, or a garland; place them on the mantel or a piece of furniture; or slip one into a gift bag or package. Evenings are a time to share with family—between parents and children or grandparents and grandchildren—and this creative hobby takes up very little space. Presented in an illustrated green-and-gold box, it makes an original Christmas or pre-Christmas gift, as well as a collection to bring out every year—one that craft and miniature enthusiasts will appreciate.
